On 2nd and 10, Jordan Love faced pressure and was forced to scramble on a throw that fell incomplete. But on the ensuing punt, Vikings returner Jalen Naylor mishandled the catch inside the 10-yard line. Bo Melton recovered the fumble at the 3-yard line, giving the Packers a golden opportunity. After an incomplete pass to Romeo Doubs, Packers coach Matt LaFleur argued for a review and was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. On the next play, Love connected with Jayden Reed on a 15-yard touchdown pass, putting the Packers on the board with just 15 seconds left in the half.
Packers get the ball back with 1:17 left
The Vikings punted with 1:17 remaining in the half after a quick drive ended with an incomplete pass on 3rd and 1. The Packers now had another chance to close the gap before halftime.
Packers fail to convert on fourth down
With 5:28 left in the second quarter, the Packers were driving. Love found tight end Tucker Kraft for a 21-yard gain, and an illegal hands-to-the-face penalty on the Vikings extended the drive. However, after a Minnesota challenge reversed a 17-yard catch by Doubs, the Packers were stopped. Love's 4th-down pass to Bo Melton was broken up by Byron Murphy, turning the ball over on downs.
Vikings score after Love’s second interception
Jordan Love’s struggles continued after a tipped pass was intercepted by Shaq Griffin and returned to the 4-yard line. Two plays later, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold threw his third touchdown pass, this time to Justin Jefferson, extending Minnesota’s lead to 28-0. Both Love interceptions led to Vikings scores, and Darnold took advantage of a thin Packers secondary, completing 10 of 13 passes for 130 yards.

The Packers defense managed to force a rare three-and-out, getting the ball back at their own 7-yard line. This marked just the Vikings' fifth three-and-out of the season, showing the dominance of Minnesota’s offense.
Narveson misses second field goal after Packers drive stalls
Jordan Love connected with Doubs for a 20-yard pass, and a pass interference call on the Vikings set the Packers up at Minnesota's 23-yard line. However, the drive stalled after a sack on second down, pushing the Packers back eight yards. Anders Narveson missed a 49-yard field goal, and the Packers remained scoreless with 8:04 left in the second quarter.
Addison scores again, Vikings up 21-0
Starting from the Packers’ 46-yard line, the Vikings extended their lead as Jordan Addison scored on a jet sweep. With Darnold already passing for 115 yards, Minnesota's offense looked unstoppable, totaling 168 yards through just three drives.
